  23. [michiel] Is that readable at all?
  24. [karlgroves] No

    There has to be a 508 or WCAG recommendation against using presentation tags like <u>, right?
  49. Mallory
    @StommePoes
    Jun 03 14:50
    probably only regarding "don't trick people into thinking something's clickable that's not"
  50. <u>'s still allowed for, apparently, Chinese proper names.

    [michiel] 4.1.2
  52. [karlgroves] Why?
  53. Mallory
    @StommePoes
    Jun 03 15:03
    I reserve the right to continue to use <i> and <b> for typographic reasons. <u> lost that when computers came along to italicise everything though
  54. and underline was appropriated by hyperlinks

    [nathanhammond] If anybody from Apple is lurking, here is an incredibly detailed VoiceOver bug report: https://github.com/ember-a11y/ember-a11y/issues/1#issuecomment-223673310

    excellent - i was just channeling @cookiecrook
  67. @nathanhammond your issue also reproduces on iOS too
  68. VOs focus handling algorithm is the bane of my existance
  69. It needs to just put focus where i tell it to go dammit
  70. zakim-robot
    @zakim-robot
    Jun 03 22:36
    [nathanhammond] @jnurthen Good to know that it reproduces on iOS. I've tried really hard to make it easy to track down.
  71. [nathanhammond] Opened a second one while I was at it: https://openradar.appspot.com/26632071

    [marcysutton] Whoa I haven’t been in here in a few hours and I came back to a really hard to read font!
  73. [marcysutton] Why the light font?!
  74. [marcysutton] I see it in here and the Angular Slack, but not the Deque one… weird
  75. [marcysutton] some weird pixel aliasing maybe? it actually looks better in the screenshot above
  76. zakim-robot

    [marcysutton] @nathanhammond: that sounds somewhat familiar to the reordering bug I found: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158120
  77. [marcysutton] Reported in the Angular Github repo as well: angular/angular.js#14677
  78. [marcysutton] Seems like Voiceover just has trouble keeping track of focus in dynamically rendered/watched content
