These tests check whether user agents correctly apply the properties defined in the CSS text-decoration spec. These are simple, user-oriented tests, designed to check basic functionality, rather than test all edge cases and implementation details.
Where the instructions tell you to look for red strokes, these strokes should be clearly discernable behind the black text of the test – ignore any anti-aliasing 'glow'.
These tests are exploratory. In all these tests, one would expect the cursive joins to be unbroken.
