Manu Sporny: goal is on the far right, asked for comments if people have extra comments

Manu Sporny: not a lot off issues, except for the new issue from 3 weeks ago.

Manu Sporny: recognized entitites taskforce has have had meeting for a couple of months now. know what the core data model should be
Manu Sporny: it looks like it works well
Manu Sporny: use cases has been added,
Manu Sporny: education, vital records, cross-border trade, product conformity coming from the UNTP, Federated identifiers,
Manu Sporny: pretty solid datamodel, and we have algoritms credential based discovery that you do recognise
Manu Sporny: there are examples of the algoritms and flow diagrams
Manu Sporny: there is also a very comprehensive threat model
Manu Sporny: the threat model documents have also diagrams, data flows, etc
Manu Sporny: stakeholders also have a break-down
Manu Sporny: 18 identified core-threat's and folks from the threat model group have looked at it
Manu Sporny: ecosystem examples, are also full ecosystems examples, for example the GS1 federated identifier example
Manu Sporny: we describe the chain of credentials with a flow, but also with an explicit example with a diagram
Manu Sporny: we also did it for UN GRID cross border trade example
Manu Sporny: the grid use case is interesting because it has a different way of discovering
Manu Sporny: the group is very close to be complete and candidate rec
Manu Sporny: from a deliverable perspective, we are now on the horizontal review request, next steps are CR, test suite, implemented, REC,

Phil Archer: GS1 will have a response in a month
Phil Archer: hope that a future state: the scanner has the software onboard with this recognized entity

Confidence methods
Denken Chen: in the current charter we have the confidence method but wonders if we should change the short name an url to VC confidence
Phil Archer: it requires 2 things, a group resolution, help from Ivan but it is also a pain in the neck
Phil Archer: it is on the agenda next week
Denken Chen: we have raised conserns about assurance levels. whats the label of trust we rely on? is it a person identification or a label identification? confidence method along with insurance labels

Wesley Smith: barcodes integrity call yesterday, the group intents to move the barcode work bit string status lists feature to the base bit string specs
