<Avneesh Singh> agena+ EPUB Accessibility 1.2 Understanding document is being updated (for information):

EPUB Accessibility 1.2 Understanding document is being updated (for information):

<Avneesh Singh> https://w3c.github.io/epub-specs/epub34/a11y-understand/

Avneesh Singh: the document has been sent to the group for approval, so now we're waiting, in the meantime we can refine it

Gregorio P.: is it possible to have an index to the different success criteria that are mentioned in the document?

Matt G.: sure

Next steps for FXL accessibility documents.

<Avneesh Singh> https://w3c.github.io/epub-specs/wg-notes/fxl-a11y-tech/

Avneesh Singh: how to expedite this document - I was in an apa meeting and they are very interested in this document

Gregorio P.: there are three issues in the document but I have not had a chance to review them yet. Wendy did PR and I will go through it. There are 5 more issues to fix apart of this PR.

Avneesh Singh: wendy is not usually able to make this call so should we set up another call with her?

Gregorio P.: let's find a time that works with her calendar

Avneesh Singh: we'll have to take this up after the summer break and also focus on issues with EPUB 3.5

Charles L.: the changes in the pull request looked fine to me so I've approved it

Dale Rogers: I like how these notes are addressing things from the publishing side but how do people find this information?

Avneesh Singh: this is a common w3c problem - the link to this document will be in the accessibility spec and techniques

Matt G.: I think there are some "compilation documents" with the list of everything that we've published

filterable list of standards: https://www.w3.org/TR/

Charles L.: we don't have to be complete for a first public working draft - okay to have open issues
… benetech sends out quarterly bulletins with links to these documents so we are pushing this info out to our partners

Avneesh Singh: we need to have a public release of the fxl document as it's been worked on for a couple of years
… maybe you can open a pr to address your issues Gregorio?

Gregorio P.: I'm good with that

<Avneesh Singh> Since George and Charles will not be present in June 25 meeting, we would not be able to discuss the topic of DPUB ARIA roles in a proper way. So, we can cancel the PCG A11Y meeting on June 25.

<Avneesh Singh> If there is nothing urgent to discuss in PMWG A11Y meeting scheduled on July 2, then we should cancel it also since I will be in AB meeting.
