The results of a survey conducted by Google among Web #developers were shared with the @w3c #WebDX #CommunityGroup https://www.w3.org/community/webdx/ ⤵️ 🧵

It gives a better understanding of the main problems and pain points facing #developers, as well as uncovering the resources they need and which ones are lacking #developer #satisfaction

Two main findings:
1⃣ #developers love the Web as a reliable and easy development platform but keeping up with changes continues to be a top issue. Efforts, such as Interop 2023, are being conducted to improve the interoperability of the web https://wpt.fyi/interop-2023

2⃣ understanding and implementing #security and #privacy measures and threats remain a challenge, hence the need for better education, tools, and best practices for Web #developers
